Problem
Rent reminders went out by hand. Maintenance requests came in over WhatsApp and email and were tracked in a notebook. Owner reports took two days to assemble each month.
What we built
We built a tenant-facing portal for rent and requests, an internal queue for maintenance with SLA tracking, and an owner reporting view that updates live. Stripe for rent, S3 for evidence photos.
Outcome
Late rent dropped 38%. Owner monthly reports are now one click. Two part-time admins re-deployed to leasing work instead of paperwork.
